ORIANA SETZ: “Part of the Latinx music movement called AlterLatino, emerging Venezuelan-born Ecuadorian-Chilean modern-folk and Art-Pop singer-songwriter Oriana Setz combines Latin American and world folklore with eclectic, wide-ranging, and soothing vocals, resulting in a gently commercial sound that aims at healing people and advocating for social progress. The queer and neurodivergent artist uses dramatic musical arrangements with glimpses of Jazz and Lo-Fi productions which are mixed with poetic and visually rich lyrics that talk about politics, self-empowerment, and the values of a progressive generation. Growing up influenced by different music styles ranging from R&B Pop and Alternative Rock to Latin American singer-songwriters, Oriana went on to study music with a full four-year scholarship at Berklee College of Music, where she graduated with honours in 2018. Her time spent living, studying, and performing in Boston and Spain, and later working in Los Angeles, New Zealand and finally the United Kingdom, has enriched her musical taste and life perspective. Some of these experiences informed her bilingual album Metamorfosis (2020), which describes the painful yet inevitable process of becoming a different version of oneself. Her music has been described as early Norah Jones and Fiona Apple. For fans of Birdy, Florence and the Machine, AURORA, and AlterLatinxs singer-songwriters such as Natalia Lafourcade, Jorge Drexler, and Shakira in her beginnings. Oriana is part of the Latinx alternative music movement called AlterLatino, and in 2016 was awarded for her composition and elite vocals. Her talent has been renowned by Forbes Magazine Mexico and other international media in places like Hollywood, California, New Zealand and other parts of the world. A recipient of the Global Talent Visa by the Arts Council of England (2023), and the Mediterranean Music Institute Achievement Award and Scholarship (2018), Oriana has participated in the Fringe Festival (Edinburgh, Scotland, 2023), co-organised the Festival Canción Sin Fronteras (Baja California, Mexico, 2019), and has also taken her music and philanthropist nature to various vulnerable communities in the countries she has lived in. A musician entrepreneur, Oriana is currently working on the production and recording of new music, as well as the production of her music videos.” https://linktr.ee/OrianaSetzMusic

FRANCIS BONDD: “A Nigerian singer /songwriter who taught himself how to play the guitar watching YouTube videos. Francis has performed in South Korea, Austria, Netherlands and Bulgaria. While in Africa, Francis gave up on his dreams of becoming a rock star and went on to relocate to Scotland to pursue a masters degree. But it’s impossible to kill a valid dream. While walking the streets of Paisley one sunny day, he got the opportunity to perform a reggae song while the busker was on a five minute break. Using the busker’s guitar and mic, he gave a resonating performance and had the crowd and passersby singing and dancing along. His viral video while singing karaoke at The Horseshoe Bar has over 247,000 views on Facebook. Francis reignited his dream and started writing songs and performing around Glasgow’s pubs and karaoke bars. His latest acoustic country pop single, titled ‘Mega Superstar’, summarises his story as an African immigrant and he hopes it gets in the UK Charts someday. Bondd’s music influences are Bob Marley, James Blunt, Seal and Passenger. Francis has a distinctive baritone vocal.” https://www.instagram.com/francisbondd

MAY TERRA: “Getting in contact with folk music whilst deciding to take a break from working as a stage actress, May Terra found herself learning how to play the guitar so she could write her own songs and also play the tunes she had discovered. Soon she began her path in music, performing at festivals, pubs, venues and private events. Her songs tell her own stories and personal experiences, from spiritual beliefs to political views. She is most influenced by Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Enya and Bonnie Raitt. Having fallen in love with Scottish Gaelic, she also began to give voice to folk waulking songs as weel as Highland love tunes such as Robert Burns’s.” https://bio.site/mayterra

ROSS McGUIRE: “A 21 year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Glasgow, Ross paints a vibrant musical narrative through his captivating performances. From supporting Brad Heidi in Galway to two headline shows in Germany and achieving a top 30 placement on Beatport for house music, Ross displays an impressive musical range and talent. Inspired by renowned artists such as Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Ed Sheeran, Ross’s music is a heartfelt blend of raw emotion and genuine storytelling, resonating with an ardent following of over 25,000 supporters across various social media platforms. Each of Ross’s performances is a mesmerising fusion of emotive melodies and poignant lyrics, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in his impassioned musical narrative.” https://www.instagram.com/rossmcguiremusic
