We opened Room 2 back in March 2019 as a multipurpose venue, catering for everything from live music events to club nights, private events to product launches, as a gallery space or to run demonstration events, and just about anything you could think of in between all of that.
The past year and a half have been very difficult for us all, especially for the live events sector. It has however given us time to put together a real plan for how we relaunch the venue. While we can’t bring you the full array of what the venue will offer when restrictions have been lifted just now, we are delighted to be able to open Room 2 for seated live music and comedy events from the 14th July!
As restrictions ease, non seated events will return and we will have an impressive club program to share with you as well. We’re launching a Room 2 Live/Performance specific Instagram account, please give it a follow if live music and comedy are your thing @room2liveglasgow . The original Room 2 Instagram account will be kept for club goings on when they eventually happen. You’ll be able to find out everything that’s happening in the venue via the website (soon to be launched) and also via the Facebook page.
A season of live events will be launched with ticket links in the coming days. Keep your eyes peeled for these and we hope to see you all soon.
