Glasgow Streetsound, in partnership with Buskers of Glasgow (https://linktr.ee/BuskersofGlasgow), is a live music showcase at city centre based venue Room 2 Live (just off Buchanan Street), aimed at giving recognition to Glasgow’s (and further afield) talented musicians and street performers.

Join us for an evening of amazing live music for #15 with Maryjane, David WILT’s, Rachelle Rhienne and Laurie.

MARYJANE: Bio to follow.

DAVID WILT’S: “A passionate and introspective Scottish singer-songwriter. With a unique ability to craft thought-inducing lyrics, he weaves raw and heartfelt emotions into every melody, creating music that resonates deep within the soul.”

RACHELLE RHIENNE: “An independent recording artist/singer/songwriter from Scotland with a huge TikTok following of 550,000 with video views rapidly approaching 50 million across her social media platforms. She has albums worth of original material ready to release that was kick-started by her Summer single ‘Orange Tree’ released July 2023. Rachelle’s music consists of catchy up tempo pop songs and power ballads; combined with an epic cinematic feel. With a catalogue of 70+ songs, her team are currently connecting with music supervisors and industry heads for placing her songs into TV, films, games and advertisements. Rachelle has teamed up with 3 Sparks Music, which includes herself, talented singer/songwriter Marina Bennett (Vancouver) – credits include Netflix, Amazon, NBC, Fox. And Jonathan Ferrier (Australian producer/songwriter) who has been noted as “producer of the future” with production inspired by the cinematic genre of Hans Zimmer and pop vibes of Ryan Tedder. She has provided multiple vocals for ITV’s hit UK TV show The Masked Dancer and The Masked Singer in 2021 and her voice was back featuring in the 2022 series.”

LAURIE: “An up and coming country artist based in Glasgow and originally from the Highlands. Mixing country with pop, rock, Celtic and traditional music as a tribute to his homeland and personal values. Laurie’s goal is to help diversify both his local and UK country music scene and to bridge the US country music scene with the UK country music scene.”
