Glasgow Streetsound, in partnership with Buskers of Glasgow (https://linktr.ee/BuskersofGlasgow), is a live music showcase at city centre based venue Room 2 Live (just off Buchanan Street), aimed at giving recognition to Glasgow’s (and further afield) talented musicians and street performers.

Join us for an evening of amazing live music for #12 with Matthew Gibb, Ivy Guo, Agha-Ozhor and May Terra.

MATTHEW GIBB: “22 year-old Matthew Gibb has a voice beyond his years and is an adept guitarist. He’s a crowd pleasing entertainer who has proved popular with audiences wherever he’s played. Over the past 7 years he has extensive experience of playing in venues across the world. His debut album, All The Words I Made For You, was released in April 2023 and comprises of songs written during Matthew’s late teens and early twenties, filled with stories of life and love in formative times.”

IVY GUO: “A Hong Kong born singer/busker based in Glasgow. Ivy has performed at notable venues like Manuka and the SECC. Her online fame stems from her well-known covers of Amy Winehouse’s songs. Ivy’s captivating voice and stage presence make her a rising star in the music industry.”

AGHA-OZHOR: “A musician based in Glasgow. I live and breathe for music and craft, any other activities or work are just means to create.”

MAY TERRA: “A nature lover who found in folk music her own place in this world.
She had worked as an actress for a while when she decided to follow the path of Music, performing at festivals and other events. Her songs tell her own stories and personal processes, spiritual experiences and political issues. She is most influenced by Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Enya and Lorena McKennitt.”
