Glasgow Americana: Bennett & Wilson with support from Dropkick. Danny George Wilson and Robin Bennett have been writing and performing together on-and-off for more years than either would care to admit. From playing on the same circuit in their respective bands Grand Drive and Goldrush to Robin and his brother Joe being early “Champions of the World” to their recent acclaimed albums with twelve-string Rickenbacker and production maestro Tony Poole under the monicker “Bennett Wilson Poole”.Here they come together with Joe Bennett (bass) and F. Scott Kenny (drums) to perform a special set spanning both their extensive catalogues, with songs from Grand Drive, Goldrush, The Dreaming Spires, Danny & The Champions of the World and Bennett Wilson Poole.18+.
