23 Promotions Presents Room 2 Live with The Decadent Movement, Petty Cassettes, The Singletons and The Lines.

The Decadent Movement: “Indie rockers formed in Glasgow in 2020 and hit the ground running. Things have moved fast for this relatively new band, receiving great attention from radio and podcasts. Debut single Glasgow’s Burning laid down the band’s statement of intent. Their lyrics reflect the real life experiences of the band, bringing a rawness that is relatable to so many of their listeners, dealing with issues like addiction, mental health, and street life. The band are currently working on their debut EP which will be released later this year.”

Petty Cassettes: “Petty Cassettes are a true Scottish rock band. Their songs vary from energetic tunes to mellow ballads. Neck deep in their origins they are the soundtrack of choice for any party night. Influenced by different genres the result is an explosive mix of upbeat-indie-rock with many different shades. A song for every occasion especially for the ones that require a pint and a loud, dancing crowd. Recent single Sensitive Boy received encouraging feedback and radio play.”

The Singletons: “A rock’n’roll and blues rock outfit based in and around the Glasgow area.

The Singletons is comprised of Rebecca Hodge on lead vocals, Rhys Reed on guitar and vocals, Joey McCabe on lead guitar, Johnny Holmes on bass, Arran Kaplan on keys and vocals, and Karl McCrae on drums. So, as you can see, we are quite the large group. But every one of us loves this band to pieces and are ready to bring the house down.

The Singletons influences can range far and wide from Motown Funk to the Delta Blues, from Tom Waits to Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd to Miles Davis and everything in between. It’s safe to say diversity runs through us and our music, especially with six individuals bringing their own unique spin to the band.”

The Lines: “The members of the band are Harry Gallacher(lead singer, guitarist), Marc Sermanni(lead guitarist), Matthew Kennedy(bass guitar) and Michael Macgee(drums, backing vocals). We’ve been playing music together since December of 2017. Our first gig was at the pub called the gryffe inn and we raised a lot of money for a little girl with Cancer. We’ve played venues like Callum’s Cavern and the bungalow many times but we’ve played venues such as Ivory blacks and the garage before. Our music has really come along way since we started, we’re making music we all enjoy and are proud of. Each band member listens to different types of music, broadening the scope of possibilities and the creative potential“
