Mima Merrow: “Belfast born, Glasgow living singer-songwriter. Her music is a unique blend of alternative folk; characterised by wistful piano lines, sudden changes in direction and melodies that ache. Influenced by that which is ancient in our landscapes, elements and bodies, her thoughtful lyricism is held together by intimacy, pain and stories to challenge her listeners. She self produced and released her debut EP, Good Grief, in December 2020 which was met with a very positive critical response: “A startling first taster” ~ Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music. “When beautiful poetry and great sounds collide.” ~ Roddy Hart, BBC Radio Scotland. “Full of fire.” ~ Stephen McCauley, BBC Radio Ulster/BBC Radio Foyle. Since then she has enjoyed performing at various online and in-person shows including; The Duncairn, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Glasgow Savings Bank and Room 2. Her debut album, Almost Home, is due for release in September 2022.”

LA-Di-DA’s: “A newly formed 4 piece collective, of Glasgow musicians. They were brought together to play and perform their own brand of ‘original’ songs, which can be best described as a ‘nod to the Mod’. Striking guitar riffs and combinations, compliment exploring influential, driving bass notes, as they combine with solid, heart beating drums, uncompromising, soul searching melodic vocals, as they lay bare the emotions, imagination and truth of stories, energetic, infectious and rousing.”

Stewart Bryden: “Singer-songwriter and guitarist hailing from Ayrshire. Writing, recording and performing music for over 15 years in various guises. Such as the rock bands Saboteurs, Sonic Templars and The Contra Band. His love for acoustic music has led him to explore his songwriting in a more stripped-back context, leading to his first solo venture. His influences include Radiohead, Nirvana, The Doors, Idlewild and the Twilight Sad. Combining luscious melodies with soul-searching lyrics, his music has been described as “uplifting melancholy”. To date, he has supported Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene), Steve Diggle (Buzzcocks), Roddy Woomble (Idlewild), Mark Gardiner (Ride) and Chris Helme (The Seahorses). He has played gigs across the UK, Scandinavia and Los Angeles. Debut single, ‘Fleeting Moments (In Time)’, was released in June 2018 and has been played on Rock Radio and Jim Gellatly’s Amazing Radio show.
To date he has recorded three EPs; The Bones of Yesterday, Shelf Life, Tides and is currently working on his debut album.”

The Singletons: “A rock ’n’ roll and blues rock outfit based in and around the Glasgow area. The Singletons is comprised of Rebecca Hodge on lead vocals, Rhys Reed on guitar and vocals, Joey McCabe on lead guitar, Johnny Holmes on bass, Arran Kaplan on keys and vocals and Karl McCrae on drums. So, as you can see, we are quite the large group. But every one of us loves this band to pieces and are ready to bring the house down. The Singletons influences can range far and wide from Motown, funk, to the Delta blues, from Tom Waits to Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd to Miles Davis and everything in between. It’s safe to say diversity runs through us and our music, especially with six individuals bringing their own unique spin to the band.”
