We are a venue situated in the heart of Glasgow. Nelson Mandela Place is a stone throw away from Glasgow Queen Street Station. To find us, we are in the lane next to Dishoom Restaurant and underneath Urban Outfitters on Buchanan Street.
Admissions follow our age verification processes. Please ID tab. Refusals and ejections are an indefinite decision made by Security and Management in the venue. These decisions are made on behalf of staff, customer or your own safety. Please accept a refusal if this were to happen.
As we are a Licenced Venue, we require Age Identification for ages of 14 and onwards. If under the age of 18, you are required to provide ID and be accompanied by an adult. This is non-negotiable.
CCTV is recording all around and outside Room 2. This is for customer, staff and building Safety.
Don't be offended if you are lucky enough to look under 25, feel blessed you are being asked. If you look under 25 you must compy with Identification requirements.
The cloakroom is situated to the right of the door at the bottom of the stairs.
We have an accessibility lift from the street floor onto the venue floor. Security will escort those to the lift down. Any further questions on this, please email info@room-2.co.uk
The following are acceptable forms of Identification: - Passport - Driving Licence - any other ID card with Photo and Pass/Holographic logo Please note that Young Scot Cards are only accepted on the circumstance that the person is under the age of 18 and attending a 14+ Live event, which is to be accompanied by an adult. Please note that Young Scot cards are subject to Door Supervisors Discretions

The venue is loud... ear protection is advised! Luckily we have spares behind the bar!
We use a variety of different lighting rigs and productions. If sensitive, please message ahead of the event or email us at info@room-2.co.uk.
As a venue, we have a 0% tolerance for any form of harassment. Please without any hesitation, inform a member of staff or security for anything unacceptable. We do harbour an "Ask For Angela" Policy that the staff are trained in. Posters are available in the venue.
