Room 2 Live & Karen’s Music Lounge Presents…

“A new live music showcase in memory of Karen Kaye featuring young musical talent and with acoustic headliner kitti, Rebecca Vasmant (DJ set), Josh Maguire and Paige. Hosted by former XFM radio DJ Heather Suttie. In association with The Sound Lab and MCR Pathways.

Come along and hear new young talent promoting their music and headlined by kitti and showcasing other young musicians. To be filmed by BEEZR Studios and uploaded to YouTube.

kitti: “Winner of both Best Vocalist (Scottish Jazz Awards 2022) Best Breakthrough (Scottish Music Awards 2020) in 2020. kitti has played at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee Jazz Festival’s this year as well as supporting legendary acts such as Mavis Staples and Van Morrison, and previous Best Vocalist at the Scottish Jazz Awards winner, Georgia Cecile. She recently released her new single ‘down-low’.

Rebecca Vasmant: “With Love From Glasgow was Album of The Week on BBC Radio 6 Music and Jazz FM and reached Number 10 in the International Jazz Album Charts. She is back from a six month tour with Ghanaian outfit Kakatsitsi.”

Josh Maguire: “An emerging musician from North Ayrshire. Recently a member of Rebel before deciding to focus on his solo work. Josh is working on his first album.”

Paige: “A very keen performer and singer with hopes to attend the Royal Conservatoire in the future.”
