Glasgow Streetsound in partnership with Buskers of Glasgow (https://linktr.ee/BuskersofGlasgow) is a live music showcase at Room 2 Live, aimed at giving recognition to Glasgow’s talented musicians and street performers and giving them the opportunity to play in a city centre venue with a world class Funktion-One sound system.

Join us for an evening of amazing live music from White Novels, Rosanna Elliott, Jessica Allen and Martina Corsini. WHITE NOVELS: “Project of Glasgow based singer/songwriter Jack Bestow. Jack Saunders has been supportive of the project’s music, leading to regular features on BBC Music Introducing, BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio and various other UK radio stations and blogs. Jack and his band played their debut gig at an online show supporting Lewis Capaldi, Retro Video Club and The Snuts in October 2020 and were tipped as ones to watch in 2021. Incorporating a range of influences, Jack writes his music to try and create something away from the norm, but incorporating influences from his favourite bands from the 80’s, 90’s and early 00’s. Bands such as Del Amitri, Keane, Travis and Coldplay shaped Jack’s musical upbringing. In February 2022 the project went on an indefinite break until Jack felt ready to get back playing again. Following successful shows at FOPP and ButeFest, the full band will return in 2023 with new music supported by playing live.”

ROSANNA ELLIOTT: “A singer/songwriter originally from Fife, then began her second verse in Clydebank. She’s a little bit country, but ever the eclectic. She loves to perform covers from various genres, and is completely blown away by the Buskers of Glasgow community. Rosanna has released three singles and is currently recording her EP, Bruises.”

JESSICA ALLEN: “An 18 year old singer from Glasgow with a wide range of influences, ranging from Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez to Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles. Can be found on TikTok and Instagram at @jessallenmusic and Facebook at /jessallenmusic.”

MARTINA CORSINI: “A signer/songwriter based in Glasgow. Originally from Italy she moved to Scotland to pursue her passion and dream of becoming a musician. After the pandemic she crossed paths with Joe, Jordan and Dimitris who have helped her take her music to the next level. Their music, although hard to pin point, is influenced by artists like H.E.R., Lianne La Havas, Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Corinne Bailey Rae and a sprinkle of Tash Sultana.”
