🚂 THE GLASGOW SKA TRAIN IS COMING TO ROOM 2! 🚂
Glasgow ska legends ESPERANZA are back — and this time they’re bringing the Ska Train into Room 2 for a night built for dancing, singing and serious skanking.
Formed in Glasgow, Esperanza have spent years establishing themselves as one of Scotland’s most recognisable live ska bands. This nine-piece ska collective are renowned for their high-energy shows, huge brass section and infectious live sound — the kind of band that can turn a room of strangers into one massive dancefloor.
Over the years they’ve shared stages with some of the biggest names in ska, reggae and punk, including Toots and the Maytals, The Skatalites, Bad Manners, The Beat, The Selecter, Neville Staple, The Undertones, Fishbone and The Toasters. They’ve also played festivals around the country and even performed at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.
And they’re not coming alone.
DAKKA SKANKS join them as special guests. Formed in 2016, Dakka Skanks have taken their ska sound across Europe, with tours and shows in Germany, France, Belgium and Spain, while sharing stages with the likes of Madness, Neville Staple and The Skatalites.
Two seriously experienced live acts. One room. One massive ska night.
